HOLIDAY PARADE AND BONFIRE RESCHEDULED
Due to forecasted inclement weather the Holiday Parade and Bonfire scheduled for Saturday December 14th has been rescheduled to Saturday December 21st.
The Holiday Parade will begin on Main Street at 3:00 PM and the Bonfire will start at 4:00 PM along the Peconic Riverfront
The Riverhead Business Improvement District was established in 1991 by the Town of Riverhead pursuant to state law in order to foster downtown revitalization and economic development.
The BID is a special tax district, governed by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead. A special assessment is levied on properties within the BID, as indicated on the BID map, which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Riverhead, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead NY 11901. The Town Board sets an annual budget for the BID Management Association, a non-profit corporation whose members are the property owners and tenants of the parcels within the district. A board of directors elected by the membership oversees the affairs of the BID Management Association.
